I did not notice this at all when I picked up my car from the dealer but a friend pointed out "hey where in the hell did the grill go, they must have left it out!" I immediately pulled up some pics on my phone to verify that there was not supposed likert type scale to be a grill. After looking at this and thinking about driving in Houston (truck capitol of the world, with crap all over our roads) I was concerned about damage to the fragile cooling system. I also wondered what was the best method to clean bugs and junk from it. Has anyone had issues and how are you cleaning? Thanks Bill

I'm very interested in this, but the install seems difficult (at least for me). The bugs/debris that do get past any grill that doesn't restrict air flow will be near impossible to clean from the radiators without removing likert type scale the retro grills! Being OE open without a grill gives max airflow for less heat soa
